Our one week stay in celebration of my wife's birthday at The Le Meridien Saigon Hotel was great. Our river view Club Access room was fantastic. The view of the river from our room made all of the difference as did the staff at the Club lounge. Tracy, Lang and Hanna at the Club Lounge were the best hostesses and made us feel at home, always smiling and very friendly, eager to please. The food and drink offerings for breakfast and the early evening reception were "over the top". We will definitely going back next year. Pay the extra fee for the river view room and Club access and you won't be disappointed.

A notre arrivée, la chambre ne correspondait pas à nos attentes. Vue sur la rivière partielle, petits lits. Après une longue argumentation au desk, on nous change pour une autre chambre avec un grand lit et un lit d'appoint. Là la vue est superbe, et la chambre sens le jasmin, au premier abord on est content. Mais au bout de quelques minutes, ma femme sent une légère odeur de vomi. Manifestement le deodorant au jasmin avait été mis pour masquer cette odeur. Nous retournons au desk et demandons encore une autre chambre. Après une longue discussion, ils nous disent qu'il y a une autre chbre qui va bientôt être prête mais qu'ils vont tenter de faire qqe chose pour l'odeur et voir si on peut rester dans notre chbre. Nous partons déjeuner (a 15h...) et a notre retour ils nous disent que notre chbre est ok, nous y retournons et ils ont mis plus de déodorant. Nous redescendons et demandons une autre chambre qu'ils finirons par nous donner. Au final, cela nous a un peu gâché notre plaisir, quand nous réservons dans ce type d'hôtel c'est pour avoir un accueil sans faille. Là avec la fatigue du voyage et la faim, nous avons vraiment passé un mauvais moment. Ceci dit, une fois que tout était règle, notre chambre était top et la vue sublime...

Helpful and friendly staff, healthy breakfast, variety of fruits, close to subway, lots of restaurants close by.

Our rooms were facing a construction building, where you can see the workers inside the building working all the time. To keep our privacy, we had to keep the curtains closed. Four days in a row! What is ironic, the hotel displayed their award as the best scenic view at their front desk. The food in the restaurant is limited. After the room service staff delivered my meal, he kept his hand and the folder with bill right above my food. I had to guide him stay away. When checked out, they listed every single item of my laundry on the bill, which I think was very inappropriate for a luxury hotel. It showed again they don’t care about the privacy of their guests. Their elevators open and close very fast, and I had to keep pushing the button more than once and wait another turn to get to my floor. The hotel rate is not cheap but the service they provide does not match the price. I wouldn’t stay here again or recommend to my friends.
