Great reception staff, great location in the heart of old quarter, very clean and spacious with all amenities. Nicely constructed and made. Very accomodating staff. And the price we pay was great as compared to other properties we booked in Hanoi, they were nothing like the photos and reviews. But this one hands down the best value for money hotel.

We booked the room for 1 night but used it as a transit before our sleeper train after halong bay. Checked in to leave our luggage and also to shower before we depart. Arriving at the reception there was no one. Saw a family having lunch and waited. They saw me but did not acknowledge and after quite a while, he finish his lunch and slowly walk in and do the check in for me. He was friendly just nonchalant. After getting the key we went to our room to find that the door was left open. We then entered and tried to close it and found out that the door can be opened from the outside by force. Found cockroach before entering the bathroom and my partner killed it with his slipper. For the amount we paid I guess there should be no expectations at all. Thankfully we just used it for a couple of hours and need not sleep there overnight. Definitely will not return.

Nice hot shower, clean, cute enough decor. Beds are quite firm, standard for Asia, just be aware, noise level in halls is apparent, but I doubt there's a quiet place anyway in the Old Quarter! The location is great, the staff was stellar, so friendly and helpful.
