The room is clean and serves its purpose since we were there for just 1 night. The location is also very convenient. The only thing that I can complain about is that there is no window to outside, but only to the hallway. Otherwise it was great value for money!

i got the room with 1 king size bed & 1 single bed, so happy. the staff were kind & friendly, the cleanliness👍🏻👍🏻, near from everywhere especially banh mi mama, street food, mini market.. happy to stay here❤️❤️

We had a great stay at this hotel in the heart of the Old Quarter. The room was surprisingly spacious and provided a peaceful night’s sleep, despite being surrounded by the lively restaurants and bars Hanoi is known for.

Location is great but the room is pretty weird and didn't have a window which made it very stuffy. I don't think it's worth it for the price

Pros: - Very good location (2mins walk from D’Mall, 1 min walk to white beach) - No deposit upon check-in - Courteous staff Cons: - If you booked through 3rd party platforms like Agoda., they will not give you the rooms near beachfront for easy access. The staff said those rooms are only for walk-in/direct booking guests. I specifically chose Taj over other accommodations because they are promoting the rooms near the beachfront but they put us in the rooms in their annex bldg. They will direct you to the rooms in their annex bldg (behind Cerca Hotel and Eriko’s House, which is btw better than Taj). This is the major turn off because it seems like they have different treatments for walk-in and guests with reservations. - No basic amenities/toiletrries like soap, hair dryer, free drinking water, foot wash in the rooms in their annex bldg - No lift, you have to climb stairs and it’s a struggle if you are carrying luggages - Front desk is not always available - Wifi is not working - No shower curtain (the water was all over the floor) Book at your own risk. Too bad I couldn’t cancel our 3nights booking anymore because there’s no cancellation policy, if I had a choice I would have switched to our hotels right away. Overall, our stay was disappointing. We’ve been to Boracay many times already and this is the first time we got disappointed because of the our stay. We were staying in hotels and it’s only experimental we tried this guesthouse because of its location as advertised but apparently that’s a front only. There are many hotels/accoms offering the same price and better than Taj. Will not go back nor recommend this.
