I love the room, is nice the lanai are big.

They boast a recent major renovation yet the entire property is majorly lacking everything they promote. No spa, no manta ray viewing deck, pretty tough to use tennis facilities with no rackets or balls to rent… activities director stated before we booked that we could get a courtesy car to the golf club across the street or it was easy to grab an Uber, yet the valet team was incredibly rude in explaining that wasn’t an option. Uber is non existent at this property. Buffet was a big miss - either low or out of everything in the mornings, same with half the menu at the pool bar in the afternoon. One on site restaurant at night with a basic menu. The market is run all day by one person who is also making coffees, Hawaiian time is taken to another level, then she was rude and snippy…! Ocean front room had a dozen boats out every night blasting music and people cheering to see manta rays. All in all just felt deceived in what was sold vs what we got

Food and amenities were not available due to renovation

The benefits were great. The facility has some of the best ocean facing rooms. We had an issue with the original room but after we reported noise, the staff (Sally) went above and beyond to resolve our issue. We were assigned to one of the best rooms at the resort. The V47 lounge benefits really met all our food needs. We had breakfast and evening snacks. Along with the $50 credit a day covered most food needs. Overall the best stay at Hawai’i!

The quiet atmosphere was great.
