Absolutely stunning location, the views are breathtaking. The wooden architecture is amazing and very unique. We had a garden view room in Hotel 2 - we were lucky enough to have a partial sea view as well. We liked the location of our hotel as it was very central, if you’re in hotel 6 or 7 I imagine this would be more inconvenient given the distance from the main areas. The main pool area is great with plenty of sun beds. The infinity pool is a smaller area and we were not lucky enough to get a sun bed there. The beach is gorgeous - calm water so great for snorkelling / kayaking / paddle boarding. The staff were friendly. We stayed for Christmas and enjoyed the Christmas Eve buffet and entertainment. Great breakfasts with beautiful views. The hotel is expensive for Thailand so we would recommend eating out at the local restaurants rather than at the resort. Although the resort says the private ferry to the hotel is compulsory it is not - we came from Phi Phi so got the ferry to a different port on the island and then a taxi to the resort. At times, the service felt a little impersonal as you use a QR code to order food/drinks. Overall, we had a great Christmas and really enjoyed the resort.

Crowded resort with frustrating logistics! This is a very large resort, and the scale defines the entire experience. Rather than feeling calm or exclusive, the atmosphere felt busy, impersonal, and heavily system-driven. We stayed in a villa with a private pool, which was well designed and comfortable. However, moving around the property was consistently frustrating. All villas and rooms are located far from the beach and main facilities, making guests completely dependent on the resort’s internal transport. Transportation is handled via open pick-up trucks that run fixed routes with designated stops, much like a bus system. These are frequently overcrowded, slow, and uncomfortable due to the steep terrain. While waiting at the pick-up stops near the villas, there was a noticeable sewage smell in the area, which made the experience even more unpleasant. Breakfast was another weak point. The buffet area was poorly suited for the number of guests, resulting in a hectic and chaotic atmosphere during peak hours. Guests crowded around the food stations, and the overall experience felt stressful rather than relaxed. We had hoped to rent a scooter to explore the island independently and reduce reliance on the resort transport, but this was not allowed near the villas and required parking far outside the property. The setup clearly limits flexibility and strongly encourages guests to remain within the resort. Can def. Not recommend this resort.

Superb everything

Wir haben selten so eine tolle Anlage und so herzliche Menschen getroffen, alles war perfekt. Die Zimmer, die gesamte Anlage und auch das Essen war fantastisch. Die An- und Abreise mit dem Speedboot war super organisiert und alles lief reibungslos, haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und wären gerne länger geblieben. Wir kommen wieder!
