Check in was underwhelming. Front desk handed me the keys and that's it. No direction on where to go or no offer of help to take our luggages. When we retrieved our luggages, the person we asked just handed it to us with no offer of help to take us to our room, The manager came to our room to apologize though and explained that the staff was an OJT so he didn't quite know what to do yet. Rooms are quite nice with a touch of elegance. The shower door was broken but they came right away to fix it. The cleaning staff are all excellent and very attentive to your needs. Always asking us if we need anything everytime they see us in the hallway. We tried the breakfast buffet twice and it was ok. Not much to choose from considereing the price. The ramen and dimsum station is always out. One of the staff probably heard us mumbling about the lack of dimsum so we were quite surprised when she came over to our table and brought us some dimsum. Kudos to Patricia. Location is excellent. SM, Glorietta, Ayala Mall and MRT station are just across the street so you have plenty of dining and entertainment options. Overall, we enjoyed our stay but we'll probably stay somewhere else next time.

Furniture and bed mattress in our room was outdated and had lost its support. The TV was not functional and we even had the concierge check it out, only to tell us that it was working properly. I finally figured that it was the remote and after I had replaced the batteries from a separate device I brought with me, the TV worked beautifully. Improvements needed for the quality of the furniture in these rooms. Time for an upgrade???
