I stayed at this hotel at both the beginning and the end of my trip to the Philippines. Overall, the staff provided good service. However, when I returned to Cebu after a domestic flight, I had arranged for the hotel’s shuttle service to pick me up at Mactan Airport. Unfortunately, my flight was delayed by one hour, and upon arrival, no driver was present.
As the flight details were provided in advance when making the reservation, the delay should have been identifiable through a simple flight status check. Eventually, I contacted the hotel and the driver came to pick me up, but I believe it is a significant shortcoming that the service did not account for the delay. I would strongly recommend that the hotel implement a system to monitor flight status, as this would greatly improve the reliability of the shuttle service.
I can’t wait till I am back in the Philippines! This hotel is a home away from home. The staff is always kind, informative, and warm welcoming. The housekeeping are sweet, trust worthy, and hardworking. The resturaunt staff are friendly and work quickly on getting meals to customers. Special shout out to Kaye who will always greet you with a smile and very courteous, she is very dedicated and professional to her job. Overall this place is good for solo travelers, couples, families, and everyone. It’s the jewel of Mandaue City. Daghang Salamat
