LAAC is a great place to stay if you want to experience downtown LA. The amenities were awesome—we loved both the pool and the gym. The hotel itself is beautiful, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Our room was clean and very spacious, which was especially important since we were traveling with two teenage boys. The bathroom was on the smaller side, but I didn’t mind, as it clearly allowed for a larger room overall. That said, the bathroom is in serious need of updates. The shower, in particular, felt more like something you’d find at a roadside motel or truck stop, which was disappointing compared to the rest of the hotel’s quality. Overall, we had a great stay; the only real disappointment was the state of the shower.

Beautiful historic building. Beautifully maintained and full of historical sports memorabilia. Staff is extremely friendly and attentive. Great bar and dining and incredible work out facilities all in one building.
