There are a great number of benefits of staying at this hotel. Although there was one seasoned front desk clerk in particular who seemed a little too snippy for what should be expected from a welcoming front desk agent, it was still a great stay! The elevators are a little slow and small and frequently shut down, but there are at least 4 different ones - so if one is out, the others might work. The bellman service was top notch mostly for luggage storage option. Although, the ice machine is located only on the 1st floor, I'm glad they at least have one. The vending machine is kind of wild to charge $3 for a can of soda. Overall, the room was nice, esp. the fridge, microwave, and bath robe.

Great location with easy access to attractions, an older hotel but would have no problems staying here again.

Our stay at The Belvedere was very pleasant. The room was clean, the hotel was centrally located and many area attractions were accessible on foot. The staff was very friendly and pleasant. I would highly recommend this hotel to friends traveling to NY.

Courteous staff, as always. This makes a huge difference and is one of the primary reasons we keep coming back to the Belvedere. Didn’t make five stars because we upgraded to a nicer suite this time and still found a previous guest sandwich in the refrigerator and the window kept falling open. Which is pretty alarming at 1 o’clock in the morning.

Staff were pleasant enough. As per NYC hotels elevators were broken down and slow. Room was extremely large for NYC standards. Excellent location.
