Very cute convenient location. Staff is extremely kind and helpful
Close to Times Square yet quiet. Good bar & restaurant. Friendly staff.
There was noise from elevator so they switched my room . Mattresses too soft for
my comfort.
Overall good hotel
It was just right for us.
This is NOT a four star hotel. Two or three at absolute best. We paid more for this place due to the king beds for comfier stay, and they felt like an old couch- the sides of the beds (where we slept) sloped downwards to the sides, and the pillows were all feather and flattened to an uncomfortable position. Room service misplaced or threw away my nipple covers which were on my clothes in my open luggage, and when I reported it to the front desk manager, he asked if I “even looked for them” (I tore apart our room and asked my friends to dump their suitcases out to look, they were GONE) and then he said “well they didn’t take them or throw them out” and wouldn’t do anything, not even offer to replace them ($40 on amazon). He said Expedia would have to help me. He also said the cleaning team is a third-party company, so they’ret not even responsible for their team.
From the moment we walked in we were greeted by Christopher. The Luma Hotel is nestled between two bigger building's which makes it a quiet environment away from the busy City but centrally located and close to everything. I heard nothing when I went to bed. It's a little things that a hotel offers and this property was no exception. From the Nespresso coffee machine, the sound machine and umbrellas on a rainy day I feel very well taken care of away from home.
