Clean hotel in a very convenient location. Walking distance from the hustle bustle with lots of food options nearby

+ves: Room was clean and comfortable, pool was stunning and plenty of loungers. Breakfast was good albeit most stuff ran out quickly, the staff were more than happy to restock once advised and the egg station was efficient and tasty. -ves: The *noise*. Like most people I read the complaints about traffic noise and thought “there’s always background noise in cities, and I’ll wear ear plugs if needed”. Be warned that sleeping on the street would be quieter than the amplified noise in the room - it comes through the bathroom vents, and the windows block nothing out - it then gets louder at night when there’s no congestion as cars speed / rev their engines. Ear plugs barely reduce it, and you will be awake all night if you’re a sensitive sleeper. The back rooms also appear to face a pretty grim looking stream. Pool staff - are inefficient and often made mistakes, ordering a drink often took ~5-10 minutes as only one person was taking orders. On our last day the manager sat sipping a drink on a bar stool while her staff were running around trying to serve customers. Drinks were good once served.
