It is an outstanding location and absolutely beatiful. Staff is great and tries to meet guest's expectations !
The only downside is that for the price, state of vila's is showing it's age, room service menu is little short and prices are fairly high.
But if your key objective was to rest in secluded place (ours was) - you will enjoy it !
Absolutely a perfect place to stay whilst visiting the Sechelles island Mahe.
If you like privacy, nature, the sea and excellent spa facilities Banyan Tree is an absolute Top Accomodation.
Only takes 30 to 40 minutes by cab to go to the Islands capital Victoria, and also the airport.
Very positive expierience, great sevice, and optimum privacy, so yes highly recommended!
My parents and I stayed at the ocean view villa, it was just right for the three of us. We can see the whole stretch of the beach from our room. The environment in the hotel is tranquil, the service was one of the best I have ever experienced across all the 5 star hotels / resorts we have stayed at. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. Our butler, Arvin, went above and beyond to arrange day trips for us during our stay (and we had a lot of requests) he made sure we were taken care of even after his shift. I went out of the hotel with a local to check out the island and I was worried about my safety. Arvin especially came to the villa to explain to me what the local life is like and advised me if it was safe to go out. He also checked in on me every hour and made sure I was safe while I was on my little adventure. We had absolutely an amazing time at the banyan tree seychelle and we would love to come back again!
Amazing place. I enjoyed every minute in Banyan Tree Seychelles; whether we were at the beach, the forest, the Conservatory, the restaurants..... amazing place with wonderful and very rich Biodiversity both Fauna and Flora.
Very nice hotel but it just the resort seemed a little tired. Some updates are in order to make it 5 star.
