Nice little hostel in the haeundae beach area. Quiet area and a too bad of a walk to 2 different train stations. The room tempature controls as mentioned in other posts could be an issue. I personally did not have any problems with the temptature. The breakfast was korean style and the same every morning but it tasted good. The powder rooms were very nice.
I acknowledge that it might be partly my fault for not checking the details, but overall, I had a terrible experience. Check-in at this hostel is only available until 8 PM, and if you want to check in after that time, you need to make arrangements in advance. Unfortunately, I overlooked this detail and arrived around 10 PM, only to find that there was no way to reach the staff and no options to check in. I ended up losing my money and had to urgently find a motel nearby with available rooms. It was an extremely unpleasant experience. Couldn’t the hostel at least have sent an email regarding this policy when my booking was confirmed, or maybe called to check about a late check-in before the cut-off time? While I understand that I share some responsibility for missing this information, I found it highly disappointing that the hostel was managed so irresponsibly.
The property is about 10 mins walk to Haendae Beach and train station. Dongbaek station is closer around 8 mins walk. The property is well maintained. One suggestion is to add lockers to the room or storage for you belongings
