My family and I had a wonderful stay at the Daecheon Swiss Chalet. The location is extremely close to the beach and countless restaurants. The facility itself is clean, and comfortable, and set up for large gatherings, while the specific room we stayed in (305) is perfect for a family with several children. We also appreciated the Swiss charm of the place.

It is old pension hotel style but it still works for you if your family if you guys want a day trip in Daecheon. Overall the place is nice and it’s nice being close to the beach.

My family of four had a great stay at this pension. The location was right by the beach and tons of restaurants and convenient stores all walking distance. There is only one bed, but mattresses and sheets were provided for other guests to sleep on. The only complaints were, the owner didn’t seem to know we had a reservation when we arrived to check in. Also, the wifi was a little weak, but it was free so we didn’t mind as much. Lastly, the doors of the pension to get outside during the night was locked as my spouse was trying to walk the board walk. Other than those issues, everything else was great! Would stay again for the price and location!!

I appreciate the Swiss theme and decor. However, our room didn’t seemed like it was cleaned well. The bed had a stale odor. There was a dead cockroach in the bathroom and mold in the refrigerator and freezer, which were both turned off. We ended up leaving to another lodging option.
