Great stay at Madeleine hotel. Check in was easy, staff are nice. They even upgraded our last night to a room with balcony and Eiffel Tower view at zero cost! Getting around from the hotel was convenient too.

Ideally located in Paris: 10 min walk to Champs-Élysées, Jardin des Tuileries, Rue Saint-Honorée, Faubourg Saint-Honoré, Galeries Lafayettes, and so on. Surrounded by restaurants and closed to Theatre and many interesting places. The hotel is charming! Rooms are really comfortable (mattresses and pillows) including aircon/heater, a safe, a desk, and everything is cleaned well! Last but not least, the staff was amazingly helpful! They did a great job! We enjoyed every minutes. The Plaza Madeleine hotel is highly recommended…!

There were many other options that I was looking through but I chanced upon Madeleine , attracted by the beautiful terrace photos. I also read the reviews that rooms were tiny and facing almost no view, of the inner courtyard. I booked early, a few months before the trip. I topped up for a bigger room and street view. Requested for higher floor. What I’ve gotten , is the 1st floor on top of the street level. Didn’t dare to open our windows for fear that people might climb in, as it was really Low Low Low level. We stayed for 8 nights, out of which 4 nights aircon ain’t working, my friend woke up in perspiration. Wifi was weak and off and on, we used our own mobile data. The room was not clean up nicely, there were strands of hair on the bathroom walls. The sound insulation was not good, I can hear my neighbours opening and closing their doors and being woken up by the noise. The pros - the beds were comfortable to sleep in. There were fresh towels and room made up everyday. Lucky for us, we upgraded our room hence we have walking space. Location wise, i would say that there more so many more hotel choices in that location. So I will want to explore other hotel.
