Stayed here for one night before our flight home.
One of the best hotels in Macau for family with children. Location wise, it is near the tourist spots like Senado square, ruins of St.Paul and shopping areas.
Great and seamless service as well. From the ferry terminal, we took the SJM free green shuttle bus directly to our hotel, no need to transfer or commute. Once at the hotel, concierge was great, free bar drinks and lots of water provided. Room was perfect, old school charm with black-out curtains perfect for sleeping toddler. The room has a bathtub with modern jacuzzi feature, and our toddler enjoyed swimming without the crowd.
Service was top-notch as well. From the front desk, bellboy, even the random staff in the hallways.
Lastly, we had a free shuttle service to the airport, perfect for those with lots of luggage and shopping trip. No need to worry about transportation. This is perfect for our needs as a family.
Never thought I would enjoy the are since it is mainly a casino-hotel, but I was proven wrong. Definitely worth all the money spent. Plus: there's a central park with playground for kids accessible by walking to the farthest area of the park, near the crosswalk.
The hotel is progressing with its extensive renovation in stages but since we were staying for the weekend there was no construction. The East tower from what I know will be renovated next but it remained very well maintained showing almost no sign of aging since my last stay before COVID. Some smoking smell was detected in the bathroom but this wasnt the hotel's fault, though the lack of a couch for guests to sit is inconvenient for older guests. Given how central the location, I will be open to staying there again to enjoy the brand new decor etc.
