This was a great option. The breakfast daily was fantastic, I loved the coffee machine. The location was excellent, walkable distance to the city. The staff was nice. The receptionist on checkin in gave us the first available room 1hr beforehand. She saw the tiredness in our eyes and helped as best she could. Kudos to her. The only issue with the room was no ac just fan. Not sure if this is normal in Zurich. But to be honest it really didnt bother us.

Room was overly cramped due to having bunk beds in that we didn’t need; a bit dated but that was expected. No air con in room and due to being near train station too noisy to have windows open. Pillows were ridiculously soft - even with two it was equivalent to not having a pillow. Breakfast was a disaster - no tables available, when there was, there were no glasses for the juice, no plates, no bowls and no cups; only two staff on trying to service about 60 guests. Nearest ‘conveniences’ are a sex shop and weed grow shop. Good location to the station however.
There is a reason why they’re Montana 3 stars. When we first walked into our hotel room we saw hair that was not ours in the sink, the pillows were subpar and flat, and the bed was very firm and very hard to sleep on. nonetheless the hotel staff interactions were top notch. I don’t remember concierge name but she was very helpful with Information about Zurich as to where to eat or what to see. She helped us on September 14th around 2:00 and we feel as though she deserves a shoutout. Breakfast was alright, it was a nice touch to our stay and we are grateful for it.
The location is quite central and close to public transport. The room was small but clean with big soft towels provided. Some of the light switches were a bit dodgy. We needed support from Reception to get the bathroom light to work.
The breakfast was great, wide choice of hot & cold, savoury & sweet. Provided oat milk as alternative to cows milk when asked.
We booked a twin deluxe room and was given a standard room, with no explanation other than to say that this was what was available. No financial compensation given.
