Hotel staff and their manager needs to be more guest centric and approachable for guest needs. I had requested their shuttle to pick me up from Interlaken OST station but they didn’t respond initially for a few days and on the last day prior to my arrival, they responded they will arrange pick up but never confirmed my arrival time or any other details. Upon arrival, person who checked me in, said they check guest msgs every shift (which was not the case), dishonest response ruined our experience from the beginning. We had to walk with our luggage bags from train station to hotel and upon arrival their were not even apologetic about mess up.
Front desk guy and their manager with bad attitude, I would not stay here again as I would spend this much money somewhere else.
Their breakfast in the morning was best part, omelette was extra charge, $10 Swiss franks.

The actually hotel was not what I expected. The room I was given had two twin beds put together and you would sink in if you rolled to the middle and it was very hard. The room itself was dingy and did not feel upscale as I thought it would based on the pictures. I love the idea of the historic element but it definitely needs to be spruced up. I paid almost $1000 usd a night including breakfast and was very underwhelmed. This was a birthday trip so my partner ended up booking us a hotel down the street to improve my birthday experience at Victoria Jungfrau-which was amazing. I would say if your staying here stay here for the convenience of the locality to train station, shops, restaurants and book the cheapest room not expecting luxury. I will also say despite the appearance of the hotel the staff were very friendly and helpful. I would personally not book here again as I appreciate beautiful, clean appearing aesthetics when I am on vacation .
The hotel building is great and it looks very nice. The rooms inside are also very nice. Clean and elegant. The furniture is old-style and very good.
The service of the main hotel staff was good but the dining area staff service was terrible on the first day (except one younge server).
First day, it felt like we came to the dining area of a no-star small hotel for breakfast. Long line up on the coffee machine, no refill in scrambled eggs for almost 20 minutes plus. even reminded a couple of staff members but they said they informed kitchen . nothing more they can do which understandable but even the manager was not helpful. not much good options of food in anyway especially for people of dietry restrictions . we went their for 25th wedding anniversary stay and paid high price but seems like i should have picked a different hotel. will never stay in this again or recommend anyone.
