Lovely rooftop terrace with outstanding views including views of Etna

Good price for the hotels location. Basic amenities. Breakfast was just ok- ours came with the room otherwise I would go out to eat for cheaper price and better coffee. Room was clean. No AC until June and there is a lovely terrace but our food was served in the lower level- maybe they move it upstairs for the summer. We did have to open the window to get air as it was warm- and got alot of city noise- but that’s just proximity to everybody.

The Hotel Isabella is a lovely property in the best location possible for being in the center of Taormina. Convenient to all sights. However, we were disappointed in the room we were given. We reserved a room with a balcony for a five-night stay. We were assigned room 44 which they call a balcony and is no more than a protective railing. Not able to fit chairs to sit there. it can only fit one person at a time. We single filed onto to the ledge to look out. The room next door which does have a good-sized balcony (chairs and table), where the 2 sets of guests that stayed for approximately 2 days each, routinely enjoyed sitting out on their balcony and had a good laugh whenever we tried to go out there scraping against the exterior wall and the railing that they deem a balcony. The room below had a full terrace. We had a railing. We expected better considering we stayed 5 nights. In saying that, the staff were helpful and available and the breakfast buffet was ample.

Pleasant property in centre of Taormina . Staff very helpful and organised . Breakfast room was well stocked . We wanted a room with a balcony … which we got … with a view of the see . Unfortunately it was a shared balcony with other rooms on the first floor … which I don’t mind … but wasn’t explicit in the room description and came as a surprise . Toilet unfortunately was tiny with a toilet , bidet , sink and shower extremely close together . Not suitable for claustophobics ! But overall hotel was very convenient for two nights and had comfortable bed and quiet room .

6 nätter på Isabella var ett ypperligt val. Mitt i centrala stadsgatan vilket gjorde bekvämt att komma hem efter dagens utflykt och snabbt vara på banan till mat etc.
