I've been traveling in Taiwan for the last 23 days with my wife and our 6-month-old son, staying in a different hotel each night. Norden Ruder was the first place to charge us extra for our son. We’ve stayed in far cheaper places where the staff was always kind and generous, never asking for an extra fee; on the contrary, they always provided a baby bath and were happy to help. We were puzzled by this and figured that if we were being charged, we would at least get a baby bed and a bath. But no, those were also an extra charge. Norden Ruder has beautiful facilities and the room was cozy, and while the staff themselves were kind, the experience left us with a bitter taste.

Excellent experience! So friendly and helpful English speaking staff. Great quiet location. Rooms are spacious. We enjoyed our stay.

Clean and comfortable stay.

Attentive to the small details, this youth hostel is very perfect for free and easy travelers. It's closer to the seashore park, but it's a bit walking distance to the bus terminal though.
