Some furniture in the room is in bad condition, the doors of the furniture where the TV is are down, the bed was making noise; the pool is very small. There is no parking lot, you have to leave your car outside the hotel.

We stayed at this hotel in Cartagena for 4 nights and had a very disappointing experience due to serious cleanliness, maintenance, and customer service issues.
The first room we were assigned was extremely dirty, with visible mold and inadequate cleaning. After reporting this, we were moved to a second room, which was in even worse condition, with sticky floors, stains, and a toilet that had clearly not been properly cleaned.
We were then moved late in the evening to a third room, described as a junior suite. Unfortunately, this room was in the poorest condition of all. The bed linens were stained, mold was present throughout the room, and the air-conditioning unit showed heavy mold buildup. The bathroom was in such poor condition that we chose not to use the shower.
The following morning, we requested to check out and receive a refund for the remaining nights. This request was denied. Instead, we were asked to wait several hours while the hotel attempted to find another room. We contacted Agoda, through whom we had booked, but the hotel again declined to allow an early checkout with a refund.
Later that evening, we were provided with a fourth room. While this room was cleaner, it was very outdated and the shower functioned poorly. The hotel later referred to this as an “upgrade,” which was inaccurate. It was the same room category we had originally booked, with the only differences being a beach view and improved cleanliness.
Housekeeping service was also problematic. Our room was not cleaned until the last day of our stay, despite multiple requests. We were informed that housekeeping believed the room was inaccessible or barricaded from the inside. While this was not the case, the door was very old and difficult to open, which may have caused confusion and further highlights the poor maintenance of the property.
Staff assistance throughout our stay was limited. We requested to speak with a manager several times and were finally contacted on the third day via WhatsApp. During that conversation, we were told that we could have checked out earlier with a refund, which did not align with the responses we received from front desk staff during our stay.
The only form of compensation offered was a meal at the hotel restaurant, which we declined due to concerns about overall cleanliness.
We also did not use the pool area, as it appeared poorly maintained and outdated.
Overall, this hotel did not meet basic expectations for cleanliness, transparency, or guest service. We would not recommend staying here.
