We had a good time in Balangan abd stayed two nights at the Aman Gati Hotel. Although overall the place is very nice, the service provided was very bad or non existent. First when I called the hotel 1 day before arrival they couldn’t find our reservation and they asked to resend the confirmation email which I did send to the email they told me. Over the phone I also asked for a driver to pickup at airport but received no confirmation over email or phone. When we arrived at the hotel I received the email response saying that they couldn’t pick us up at the airport. There was no motorbike rental and they didn’t bother to arrange it for us.

The staff was very welcoming and nice. The unit was clean and tidy. The condition was in need of some work. Our bed sagged to one side and the unit had some holes/cracks in the door and walls. One night a mouse actually made its way into our room and chewed into some of our snacks. There is yoga and massages right next door. The beach is walking distance and the sunsets are great.

Great place to stay especially if you want to surf at Balangan. Lovely rooms with air con, very clean and tidy. The only downside, the restaurant was only open for breakfast although there were plenty of other places to eat nearby. Just can't understand why it was so quiet.

The hotel was clean and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Breakfasts were great and the short walk to the Balangan Beach is great. Love the quietness of the area and the relaxing area. No hard sell like in Kuta. Very refreshing.
