The place and food very satisfied
Stay for 2 days 1 night, the room was so big n cozy, my family enjoy staying at majestic hotel even for 1 night. My daughter enjoy bath in bathub playing bubbles. And the location is not at center of malacca city, so the area aren't busy at all. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
1. Diverse breakfast options
Highly recommended
2.Bathtub are so comfortable
3. Welcome tea and snacks, great

We stayed here recently and there were several issues that really fell below 5-star standards.
1. Room noise – not acceptable for a 5-star stay
Our room had loud piping noises from above, and it disturbed my toddler’s nap around 3pm. I reported it to the receptionist, but for a 5-star hotel, I expect rooms to be properly insulated so guests can rest without this kind of disruption. Room also had some dust—still acceptable, but the noise wasn’t.
2. Security concerns
You can walk in through the main entrance freely, enter the next door without a keycard, and even access all floors by lift without tapping a card. Only the room door needs a key. This is surprising and concerning for a 5-star hotel where stronger guest security should be the standard.
3. Poor rain protection
On a rainy evening, our shoes got wet even with staff holding an umbrella because there is no covered drop-off area. My aunts also had to walk from the carpark to the hotel with no covered walkway and no umbrellas provided, so their shoes were soaked. This really affects the overall 5 stars experience during rainy season.
4. Breakfast service was the biggest disappointment
Two waiters were rude and seemed to treat foreign (white) guests more politely than others.
One waiter, Abhishek, spoke rudely to the table next to us. At our table, an older male waiter responded rudely when I asked for a hard-boiled egg for my toddler, staring and saying, “Half or hard boiled?” in an unpleasant tone. This kind of behaviour is unacceptable anywhere, especially in a hotel claiming to be 5 stars.
On the positive side, the two lady waiters were kind, helpful, and professional—exactly what 5-star service should look like.
Overall
The hotel has potential, but the noise, security issues, poor rain design, and inconsistent service—especially the rude breakfast staff—did not match the standards of a 5-star property. I hope management takes these issues seriously to improve the guest experience.
Not all that good for the price
