Travelling to new country can be hard, exciting, sad.... Anything. Being at the ibn battuta, will ensure that you always fell like you are home. The place, the staff, the amenities, the food.... Just simply superb!!! Thank you and big shout out to the front desk, the operations staff, we regret not staying here longer. Thank you for everything

We’ve stayed here 4 times over the years, but after our Oct 2025 visit, we won’t be returning. This hotel is no longer offering anything close to a 5-star experience. It’s under full construction: the lobby was gone, dust and debris in corridors, toilets leaking in the room, and no toilets near the pool, you have to go back to your room while wet. The gym was removed mid-stay, with no notice. Staff told us to pay to use a mall gym or go to another hotel 15 minutes away. Lifeguards were also handing out towels. Noise from construction starts at 8am, and cleaning was unreliable. The hotel may reply saying guests were informed, we were not. - We booked in May - They informed Expedia in June/July - We only received an email on 30 Sept at 23:19, 2 weeks before arrival At that point, prices had jumped by over £1000, and we had flights + another hotel already booked. After several complaints, we were offered free breakfast and chocolates, not remotely enough for what we experienced. We will not return. And until all works are complete, you should not book this hotel either. It’s being sold as something it is not.
