High ceiling room with old world charm, waking up to the sound of wave, walk into ocean from the villa, attentive staffs, well maintained sites and the food was amazing across all restaurants, only if the weather could be a bit better, this wouldn’t been the trip of lifetime, will definitely come back in a non- raining season. And thank you Dusit Thani, this is indeed “ the land of heaven”!
Maldives meets White Lotus. Dusit Thani was a dream destination. The lush vegetation and beautifully kept grounds were paradise. Although there were a ton of things to do (restaurants and activities), we chose to do absolutely nothing but relax and soak in the beauty of the island. The staff and service are 5 star. The food was so fresh and delicious. I would definitely return for a longer stay.

The resort was in general quite good and the team were nice too, but it wasn't outstanding. For me a highlight is the plant-based restaurant Sala, were top food and drinks (very interesting cocktails) are served.

We recently stayed at Dusit Thani Maldives and had an exceptional experience that truly stands out, even among other five-star island resorts.
We booked the Over Water Villa with Pool, which we highly recommend for its generous layout, serene privacy, and direct access to the house reef.
From the moment we arrived, we were in excellent hands with our butler, Mona (Gulnoza). She was incredibly responsive, reliable, and proactive—anticipating needs before we voiced them and ensuring every detail of our stay was seamless.
Dining was a highlight. The Sea Grill restaurant impressed us with both its culinary finesse and hospitality. A special mention to the grill chef whose skills elevated every dish, and to Slyp (Mohamed) for his exceptional service—warm, attentive, and consistently professional.
We also had the pleasure of dining at Benjarong, Dusit Thani’s signature Thai restaurant, led by Rungnapa. Her deep knowledge of food and beverage, coupled with an evident passion for genuine hospitality, made each visit memorable. She’s a standout professional in every sense.
Lastly, breakfast at The Market was a daily delight. While the variety and freshness of offerings were excellent, what made it even better was the gracious service from Shahina and Ahmed—always welcoming, efficient, and personable.
