The location is excellent — close to many attractions, and the biggest advantage is that it’s right next to the beach. However, the price on Expedia is higher compared to the hotel’s regular rate.

風呂場の設備にちょっと不満かなあ〜 シャワーのホルダーがゆるくてシャワーヘッドの制御が定まらないし、浴槽外にシャワーが漏れるとトイレの床に水が浸透するので常に水浸しでした。

酒店內部殘舊， 房內洗手盆淤塞另外水龍頭噴水（把衣服濺濕）， 浴缸玻璃門設計有問題只有半塊玻璃， 沖完涼整個廁所地下都濕。 前台職員態度欠佳沒有笑容，住客出入沒有眼神交流不主動打招呼。 另外建議 expedia網站 把酒店圖片更新一下， 原有照片完全不符實況。 海景房風景很好。

This was by far the nastiest hotel experience I personally have EVER had. The place is disgusting, everything's broken, it smells like mold, the front desk trys their best to scam the customers at every turn. Extra 100 baht if you ask for an extra towel. 1000 baht fee for losing your room key card. (The disposable plastic ones) Shower was a joke, the balcony railing is completely rusted through. This place is straight out of the twilight zone series. It should be demolished and rebuilt.

I stayed at Hotel Selection Pattaya. The most notable point is the location—being so close to Runway Street Food and Soi 6 is definitely a big plus. That said, in my case, despite booking a suite room, I unfortunately encountered an issue where none of the room lights could be turned off. While I appreciate the quick response after I called, I had concerns about the way the situation was handled afterward. The maintenance staff entered the room with a stepladder, opened the inspection panel, and started repair work around midnight. At that point, I would have expected to be offered another room immediately, but instead I had to suggest it myself before being moved to a different room. As a Japanese guest, the language barrier and communication made the situation even more concerning. I understand that equipment problems can happen, but I believe the guest service and hospitality could have been handled better. Although I only stayed one night in a city-view suite, I was disappointed that there was no word of apology or sign of sincerity even at check-out. I sincerely hope to see improvements in guest relations going forward.
