This stay was extremely disappointing and nowhere near the standard of a five-star property — it was closer to a one-star experience at best. From the outset, the accommodation issues were unacceptable. The shower plumbing failed, flooding the bathroom and suite. As a result, we were moved to another suite, which was in an appalling condition. The toilet was blocked, emitting a strong stench, with faeces visible in the bowl. We were left without a usable toilet for approximately six hours. When maintenance finally attended, the contents of the toilet spilled onto the bathroom floor and were wiped up with towels. Despite requesting proper disinfection and sanitation, this was not handled appropriately. Cleanliness was also a serious concern. The quilt cover on the bed had large amounts of hair stuck to the Velcro closures, which is utterly unacceptable and completely unhygienic for any accommodation, let alone one claiming to be five-star. Noise was another major issue. There was continuous noise from functions below, clearly demonstrating that the rooms are not soundproof. In addition, there was incessant banging from events next door, along with ongoing construction works at the neighbouring building, making it almost impossible to sleep. This level of noise is completely unacceptable for accommodation that claims to be luxury. The restaurant food was well below average, tasteless and extremely disappointing. Staff service throughout the property was slow and unfriendly,

I'm a regular traveler from Australia. 5th time to Vietnam. Wish I knew about Delasea on prior trips. 5 star hotel with 5 star service. Every single staff member is polite and goes out of their way for every request. I booked 5 nights and by my 4th day they remembered my room number at breakfast,the type of eggs I like and had my hot chocolate made for me cafe quality. All brought to my table. Find a hair dresser or store, call your airline, book a transfer to the airport, share vietnamese words, and have a chat, all no problems for the staff. Vietnamese people are friendly and give good service but this place is outstanding and only matched by places like Shangrila Resorts from my 64 countries travelled to date. Cleaners, door men, breakfast staff, and reception all friendly. So happy I booked an additional 5 nights here and upgraded my room as a treat to myself. Room is a great size and you can fit 4 people in the shower its that big. Special mention to: * Mr Tung in food and beverage who was so welcoming every day. Nothing was too much for him. Made me feel like a local. A true gentleman. * Mrs Bich at guest services. She took care of my room requests, hairdresser tips, taxi booking issues, and was generally a beautiful person to talk to. * Mr Duc Anh was a ray of sunshine. Cheered me up everytime I spoke to him. Also helped me on many occassion. Long review, but for a reason. Keep up the great job guys. I'll be back again.
