It was amazing stay for 2 nights in this resort. Simple accommodation with the surroundings with green nature, the staffs are friendly and helpful, the foods serve in the restaurant are truly Thai food and they do have western menu also. It’s a relaxing place and I definitely will come and visit again. 2 points I would like to highlight: 1. I booked for 2 nights (Superior Twin 1 night and Single Room Wooden Cottage 1). My bookings were stated clearly with breakfast included, but Chestnut Hill Eco Resort’s information gets from Hotels.com stated room only, without breakfast. After I clarified with the resort manager, I manage to get my breakfast without additional charge. But I think some error in your system to deal with Chestnut Hill Eco Resort. Please check on it. 2. There was the river water level was overflowing on the day I checked out. We were stuck in the Resort, because all the cars can't cross one of the bridge outside of the resort to Hatyai town. While waiting the water level down, Resort served some refreshments, coffee/tea to the customers, offer to extend room check out time that we can rest in the room while waiting and even offer an additional 1 night stay FOC. BIG Thumb up to the resort manager and the staffs taking these actions to resolve this unexpected incident.

Nice view, we enjoy the moment together

I’m glad i stumbled upon this resort because it’s not well known compared to other hotels in hatyai. Love the forest and the room overlooking the hill and mountains. They offered halal food and the they were definitely delicious. Please try their bamboo chicken, pad thai, seafood soup and fried rice. There are many jungle trails to explore which can be quite challenging. To reach the river need to climb down 76 stairs and good for adventurous person. Otherwise i really love our Nakbud room. It was spacious and had amazing balcony with mountain view. But need to had close watch of our toddler as can get a bit dangerous to let then roam free the balcony. Room is a bit old but well maintained and clean.
