A lovely place, two blocks from the train station, in a nice neighborhood, near historial landmarks.

I recommend you avoid this property. Host doesn't seem to care anymore about delivering services advertised. Room had a comfy bed and stong shower but that is where it ended. Toilet had not been cleaned, minibar was empty although very explicit price list was laid out. Room very poorly maintained. Smoke detector was laying in a basket on the dresser. Marks and stains on walls, toilet paper holder hanging on by a thread, single lightbulb hanging in bathroom, laminate hanging off cabinetry. The room was called "luxury" but nothing luxurious about it or the property. Host greeted us next morning when breakfast was laid out to tell us it was 10 euro per person. We said it was included with expedia rate and he conceded. The breakfast was pathetic esp for a property that advertises as a B & B. Coffee and limited cereal from old plastic dispenser with no milk or cream. Packaged croissent and buns like you get on plane with no butter. The fruit was a variety of old wrinkled apples that had been sitting out for god knows how long. No meats or cheeses or eggs. Although it was close to the train station and convenient, we felt very uncomfortable walking there after dark. If we could have found another place the second night we would have. So sad because the property has so much potential with a little love and effort.

We were able to leave our luggage which was great. Able to get in room using wifi means with no problem the 1st time, but got locked out the 2nd time and got no response from owner via phone or email. Able to get back in 2hrs later. Water for shower was lukewarm at best. Despite advertisement for breakfast, none was provided and couldn't leave without taking luggage for fear of inability to get back in. Overall horrible experience and we have traveled alot.

After booking, about two days before our check in date, we received an email to check in online. We are not computer illiterate, but we were not able to check in online. We tried many times with no luck. We tried as many times to reach them by phone, during normal business hours and no one answered. We left messages with no call back. We then just went to the property and there were no staff anywhere. The other guests said their is no one on site. We finally gave up and paid for another hotel down the street, which was great by the way. We would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Giovanni and the B&B...both were amazing! His son drove us to the Port ! Great Convo!...
