Room was really nice, as were bar and breakfast areas. Only downside was the room wasn’t at all soundproof so was woken early by a kitchen door slamming.

Lovely peace and homely place. Didnt like that they allowed dogs to stay there. Food was expensive and not much choice.

Stayed just for one night very comfortable and relaxing nice evening meal and a couple of drinks. Excellent Breakfast Will Definitely Stay Again

Every aspect of the Gateway was outstanding. The service and food was amazing and rooms were spotless. The accomodation sits in a very idealic spot and views are outstanding. We had dinner one night and it was all fabulous no complaints. If i returned we would request a room on 1st floor, as we were up top and stairs got slightly steep near top. Knees wont take it these days!! But overall we had fab, comfortable few days away. Oh and the government restriction measures were managed excellently.
