Went away for our wedding anniversary. Greeted by really lovely and friendly staff, we arrived at 12.30 and popped in to find out if we needed to register our car, we were told our room was actually ready and able to check in early which was a bonus. They explained how everything worked and we booked a slot in the pool for later in the afternoon. Upon entering the room we were very impressed with the size of it and the volume of storage. Plenty of tea and coffee, and a little fridge too. My husband then went off to use the gym before we went for a swim, the pool is lovely and warm and the surroundings very clean. Anytime we passed the reception team they were friendly and checked with us that everything was ok and if we needed anything to just ask. Parts of the hotel are a little old and outdated, but it didn't make it feel any less nice. We used the bar facilities on a few occasions, the bar staff are nice and friendly and bar prices are pretty reasonable. There is a lovely lounge area to enjoy your drinks, including a little terrace looking out along the cliffs and sea. In the lounge is a TV which you are able to use as you please. We had no issues whilst staying here, we were able to use the pool numerous times in the day due to it being quieter. We had a walk around the outdoor areas, and we're pleasantly surprised with how much there is to do for families. We will definitely be returning in the summer of "24" with our children, we feel they would absolutely love it here.

Lovely 2 night stay- the staff were excellent & welcoming. The whole building & layout was tired & in need of renovation & modernisation but over all clean & spacious. Very much tailored for families.

Had the best week in Cornwall and the hotel just added to the enjoyment. The pool was great to come back to after lots of walking around. Staff all excellent.

In line with 3 star hotels, great property for families. They should invest in airconditioner's as it is only going to get hotter throughout summer
