Zedwell gave away the family room I pre booked and paid 10mths in advance for. On attempted check in - manager blamed hotels.com for not paying them instead of owning the error and making it right. Hotels.com confirmed Zedwell had been paid
Family of 4 middle of winter 11p without a hotel for a week. Forced into re booking on the spot for a week at 150% the original cost!
Disgraceful dishonest behaviour from Zedwell.
Now they are delaying and avoiding refunding me the original prepaid booking cost - see how this goes. Could be fraud of 6000.

Loved that it was such a central hotel, but when you closed the bedroom door all was quiet. It’s a great no fuss hotel.
Had a great stay
I should’ve done more research, good hotel but very basic, rooms just beds and bathroom. No hairdryer etc
Also really disappointed to find room was available 2 hours early, but then had to pay £40 early check in fee. Also to leave bags there was £15 per bag. Check out is 10am so leaves you with little choice when flying out much later.
Given we paid a premium too for the room (given time of year), to then have to pay those additional fees too wasn’t great.
Wouldn’t return.
