Made a waffle. Turned the heat on. Was fine.

The bed needed to be made better it was awful and the smoke detector keeping us up until I asked for a battery

The bed sheet wouldn’t stay on an the pad under was bunched up which made do a terrible sleep and the smoke alarm battery kept beeping around midnight

Clean room, very friendly staff.

Quiet and cozy room, fluffy pillows, lovely breakfast. We were disappointed to find upon arrival they required $150 cash deposit that would only be reimbursed if there were no damages. The front desk clerk said it was stated clearly on hotels.com. However, I have thoroughly reviewed the website. All it says is deposit of USD 150 required. It did not specify what it was for nor that it had to be cash. It also was difficult to find even that. We were told we either needed to provide that cash deposit or they would be happy to cancel our reservation. We offered our debit card to pay but they were firm in only accepting cash. The clerk was accommodating, but only after I shared about my personal health constraints that required me to stay at a hotel that night. I am very grateful for the kindness and overall really did enjoy my stay. It's a nice hotel in a great location. I only share this experience in hopes the verbiage in hotels.com will be updated so there is less chance of this kind of misunderstanding in the future for anyone else.
