As part of our Tasmanian adventure we had the pleasure of spending 2 nights at Port Arthur Motor Inn . It is conveniently located looking over the historic site which guests have direct access to their own gate (entry fee must be paid prior ) .
The staff are friendly and helpful and the food is excellent . Recomended

Port Arthur motor Inn is a great location and staff were very helpful. The motel is a little dated.

Nice motel, clean rooms - comfy beds.
They offer a key to get on the Port Arthur premises if you already have your tickets which is handy especially if going back for the 2nd day visit.
Restaurant was nice, good choice of meals.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

I arrived at Port Arthur mid afternoon, spent time there, then drove a couple of minutes to the motor inn. Had a relaxing evening, with a meal in a vert relaxed place. Slept well, very clean, then headed back to Port Arthur. So close you can see the prison/ accommodation from which ever side you are standing. Friendly, helpful staff, thoroughly recommend, in particular if visiting Port Arthur.
