Beautiful urban view from the room. I love vintage LA and 7th floor view was great. Checkin was clunky and valet parking is a whole separate checkin experience, complete with xeroxed form to fill out. Valet billed in advance for multiple days. Bit of a pain after a long travel day. Lobby is nice and has chill places. I couldn't go to the roof pool at 7pm, not sure why and the front desk wasn't sure either. Rooms are a pretty but long in the tooth remodel that's a bit too clever - designer sockets that can't fit two plugs; hdmi socket dangling behind the TV, weird "coffee foam" machine. Took a good few minutes to figure out how to turn all the lights out to go to sleep. It's a decent stay and I may stay again when prices are good, but I prefer the more stylistically intact period spots.

I, personally, am not a fan of Los Angeles but if I ever visit again, I would stay here. The staff are extremely friendly, helpful, attentive, and just overall pleasant. The hotel itself is next to Tao, but there are plenty of other culinary choices at walking distance. Everything was pristine from the moment you enter the lobby.

The staff were absolutely amazing! The service was great! Everyone was very efficient and wanting to help. We had an A/C issue and they fixed it immediately. Everything was clean and fresh! The security was great and we felt very safe. The only thing was the bathroom in the room….great for a couple but not a girls trip. lol I had to go to the lobby to use number 2. Why is it glass walls??? But besides that it was great!

Super friendly staff, nice modern spacious rooms, amazing rooftop pool and space. Over cool vibe!
