Great spot for relaxing. Beach bungalows are ace, resort far side of the beach and so nice and quiet.

We had a wonderful 5 days at The Tropical. Since it’s located at the end of a beach there were fewer people on our beach yet it was close enough to walk to other restaurants and the Bangbao area. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They even helped us book a private taxi back to Bangkok at half the price other resorts were offering. While we found our bungalow comfortable, if you want a pristine, modern room you might be disappointed. There were a few ants in the bathroom due to the thatched roof. As long as you keep food out of the bedroom, the ants pretty much stayed in the bathroom. As long as you don’t mind a few ants, it’s well worth it for the peaceful surroundings, the friendly staff and the very good restaurant. With only 27 bungalows you were guaranteed a lounge chair and room to spread out instead of sitting in a crowd of people. The swimming wasn’t the best in front of the hotel due to underwater rocks but if you just walk down the beach a little ways it was fine. If you’re looking for a peaceful slice of paradise, I recommend The Tropical.

Amazing location, at the end of the beach so lovey and quiet. The staff an incredible and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Great music from Robert! We had a great jam! Only annoying thing was the fridge wasn’t on a separate socket so went off every time the bungalow was locked. Overall though it was exceptional and we will be back!

Bungalow sehr spartanisch. Geographisch super ruhige Lage. Umgebung vernachlässigt. Flora nicht mit Wasser versorgt
