Had my X'mas staycation stay during Covid. - Great location (Golden mile, Kampung Glam area), with good eateries around (Thai, Middle East, Vietnam and local food) - Enjoy the open air garden within the room (which is rare), and - Quiet (as my room is not facing the road) Recommended!

Overall pretty good experience, except the bed was on wheels which can be a little “shaky” at times.

We like the interior of the room which gives us a feeling of staying in traditional southeast Asia hut. Excellent location.

Encountered a rude receptionist

The room is very very small and the toilet is even more small because of the glass partition right in front of the toilet seat, barely any space to sit. Will definitely not suit normal non-petite person. I called to ask for iron board but the it didn't come after over half an hour. I had to call twice more for it to come and then the housekeeping staff gave me a very worn out iron with dirty plate and broken thermostat so the temperature couldn't be controlled and I burnt my shirt with it because the temperature was just too hot. I asked for another iron but no iron came at all and the staff gave me excuse no more iron. I had to spend money to buy my own iron from the mall. The room is also quite hot and there's no way to control the temperature of the A/C. At night, the back of the room gets really noisy with people screaming and talking because my room was facing the back alley. Otherwise, the room is clean, the receptionists were very friendly and professional and the location is great if you want to explore the Arab Street and Kampong Glam area. However, I would find other hotels nearby next time instead.
