종로 HOTEL STAR

I was only there for a night but the staff was very accommodating allowing me to check out early and leave my bags while I did a tour. Food is right up the street as well as the subway. However, it can be a little tricky to get a taxi.

Good place to stay. Good location very accessible to everything. Staff was accommodating. My recommendation is just to improve the cleanliness towards the room especially the hygiene part of it all.

The room we checked into when we arrived was disappointing and not like the rooms pictured. We told this to staff and they offered us two other rooms to choose from which we appreciated. The room we did end up in was not immaculately clean and we did find small stains on sheets. The bed was also very firm but this could be a regional norm, we have no idea. Great water pressure, good hot water, and a nice view from the opaque window which did not open all the way. All in all a pretty good value for the location which was less than 20 minutes away from lots of great markets and the palaces.
