Next to the river, its a little bit old but the staff and location are great

We were 2 couples and booked 2 river view suites; both large with tranquil riverside views, nice furniture and a comfortable bed, large bathroom with jacuzzi [didn't work] out of 4 jacuzzis in the 2 rooms only one worked, out of 2 Japanese toilets only one worked, out of 2 safes only one worked. Lack of maintenance... Staff seemed clueless - asked if the restaurant was open [in Thai language] she said yes, but wasn't. asked about a local restaurant they had no idea... But they were very fast on check out to demand money for "a small stain on a pillow case" - we had been warned about this trick by reading Thai reviews = we refused and demanded the cash deposit back, after some argument they did return the B1,000 cash. When first opened probably really good but this non maintenance factor is often found in Thailand.

Good place to stay for a short getaway, seems like a popular place for domestic tourists as well. The place is clean, with pool and gym facilities. Breakfast ala-carte was very nice as the dishes were prepared upon request. Highly recommend.
