Comfortable sleeping, lovely surroundings. We missed the hot tub Parking was sparse at times Still we love KaEo Kai

Be aware that if you are checking in late due to late flight arrival there is no staff until the next morning. You will need to pick up your key at another resort nearby. Room was ok nothing special. There is NO sound barrier between rooms, especially with adjoining suites. Could hear everything from the people next door and the footsteps of those upstairs. Fridge made a weird loud noise when it ran. Seems out of date and in need of a renovation. Pool was out of commission due to work on it. Ok place if you just want to be there to sleep.

Renovation required as the property condition is not good especially the beds and furnitures. Utensils required to be changed. The floors must be cleaned properly. Swimming pool hot tub does not work. Location is good and staffs are very friendly. Check in time can be improved as the time spent in check in was around 30-40 minutes.

Pros: * great location * large rooms with lots of space to accommodate our large group * great staff * beautiful grounds * accommodated our request for a late checkout Cons: * outdated rooms * cleanliness was not up to standard (cobwebs on ceilings) * we had a problem with ants in the kitchen and bathroom, which unfortunately got into our food the same day we arrived. We had to toss out several items or keep all food in the refrigerator and off of countertops. * no A/C. There were lots of windows and screen doors for airflow, but even with them open, it was just too warm inside. Much too uncomfortable even to sleep at night. * because you had to leave the doors and windows open for airflow, you could hear the roosters ALL night long, making it hard to get a good night’s sleep. While the space was great for our family and the location also great, we would not return to this facility. The no AC, the ants, and the noise made our stay not as enjoyable as we had hoped. When staying in this area again, we will choose a different location.
