Older hotel with lots of charm. Short walk to the pier, if you are planning to visit the many islands. Public bus gets you downtown Ao Nang and there are a few restaurants and stores a short walk away.

All in all, we had a good stay. The front desk was friendly and helpful. Housekeeping and the breakfast buffet were only average (or below average), but maybe they were understaffed. We would probably come back.

We stayed 2 nights in this hotel to be close to the pier where you can go to Railay Beach, Koh Phi Phi and others islands. When we arrived, we got a room with twin beds instead of a double bed near the street so it was noisy. The following morning we asked the staff to change room which they did and it was much better. The staff had limited English but we're very nice and accommodating. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Note that there is a shower curtain but water goes everywhere on the floor. The Thai style breakfast was good. Overall, it's a good budget hotel.
