무쓰/무츠 그랜드

Hotel is perched on a high ground overlooking the town of Mutsu. It is a little away from the central but no problem if we drive. Room size is decent by Japan standard. Clean and relatively modern. Comes with onsen.

We stayed a night at the Grand Hotel Mutsu. It's probably the most prominent building in Mutsu, offers a great view of the city, and has a grand history. As many other reviewers have noted, its decor looks fairly dated. But other than that, the hotel is clean and has all the key amenities one would need. There's an onsite onsen, while the restaurant at the top floor has great views and serves a delicious breakfast. Rooms are pretty decently sized with comfortable beds. The only drawback is the early checkout (10am). Other than that, it's a solid choice for a stay in Mutsu.

This is a very nice hotel. The room was good size and very nice, very clean. Breakfast was good too.

送迎あり、見晴らしの良い客室、温泉付きでとても良かったです。 夕食付きでなかったのですが、近所に食事処やコンビニがなかったのが残念でした。
