Hotel was under construction. The whole first floor was unavailable because of the renovations. I was placed on the second floor. There was furniture in the hall because of renovations. The first room I was placed in had a roach infestation. I immediately requested a new room and was given one on the same floor. Seeing the roaches in the first room should have prompted me to just get my money back and find another hotel. It was too late in the evening to do that, so, I just toughed it out. It was not a good experience, and will not book this hotel ever again.

There was no lobby due to construction, just a ling hall with a man at a table with a laptop, credit card machine and a sign stating there is an ADDITIONAL deposit at check-in. He offered it to us for half even though their website states it is even less. When I showed him the hotel website he called me a liar and refused to honor it. We left. Did not stay. Filed a claim for a refund of what we paid for our room.

The room was in great condition. The hotel is currently under renovations but our floor was completed. We were not aware of a $200 deposit upon arrival. We wouldn’t have picked this hotel if we were aware. Literally was just an overnight stop on the way to a horse show.
