Enjoyed our stay here because of the location. It’s very near to all the places you can go in Hcm. And it’s not that noisy. Got issues on our first night because the aircon is not working but thanks god it worked! The bed is not that soft tho but it’s okay! :) Also the staff esp Dewy is very kind and accomodating! We miss him already! 😩 He is very active to all our requests hehehe and even helped us talked to our grab driver when the driver won’t accept us because of our luggage. So very much thank you Dewy!

We booked 2 rooms with the tub & the rooms looked like the pictures, but in reality they are very cramped and old. Our friends ended up putting the brown chaise in the hallway to make their room less cluttered. We had to pay more to upgrade to a room with two beds because my husband was feeling claustrophobic. The beds are hard in both rooms & all of us didn’t sleep very well. We had ants in both rooms. Our friends in room 401 kept hearing water running & was told by staff that it’s normal sound from water upstairs. That also disrupted their sleep at night. The bathrooms are also very small. We were only provided thin bath towels, no hand towels or wash cloths to wipe water around the sink.
The good things I can say about this hotel are 1) the location is good for shopping at Ben Thanh market, Saigon Square, Saigon Center mall, etc. 2) the staff is nice (especially Huy) and 3) the street is peaceful, except for occasional street vendors passing by with their loud speaker announcements. Our 4 days stay at this hotel was unpleasant.

Impeccable cute receptionist services. Notwithstanding the room is small but just nice for solo traveler. My room overlooking Ben Thant market. The place is so quiet and less traffic, which is good for a nice sleep

This review is a serious safety warning. I was trapped inside the bathroom of this hotel from 11:00am to 3:00pm due to a faulty, incorrectly installed doorknob that could not be opened from the inside. I had no phone and no way to contact anyone. I am claustrophobic and suffered multiple severe panic attacks while screaming, shouting, and banging on the door for four hours. I was also meant to check out of this room at 12:00pm, so at first I believed I would only be trapped for a short time and that a cleaner or staff member would arrive — no one came, further highlighting the extremely poor hygiene and housekeeping standards. Staff later admitted to me that they heard screaming but ignored it, assuming it was something else and choosing not to investigate. I was only rescued because another guest across the hall alerted reception if it wasn’t for him I dread to think how much longer I would have been trapped.
In desperation and fear, I had to break a small window to try to breathe and to alert help. I am absolutely appalled and traumatised over the incident and not one staff member apologised to me or offered me any sort of comfort it was clear from the minute it happened they were just concerned over the damages to the door from me trying to break out in pure desperation. I also sustained injuries to my arms and hands from banging that loudly and trying to open the door. The emotional damage from this hotel is horrific and they clearly do not care about guests safety as I was screaming so loudly for the full four hours I was trapped and banging so loudly on the door if I worked in a hotel I would not just assume that someone screaming is coming from somewhere else I would go and investigate especially knowing you have a young female solo traveller staying in your hotel.
Instead of taking responsibility, the hotel’s response was deeply concerning. The following morning, staff came to my room demanding payment for the night I was trapped and additional nights, while acting as though they were “doing me a favour” by not charging me for damages caused during the incident. During this confrontation, they attempted to blame me, claiming the bathroom doorknob must have broken during my stay. I was refusing to pay and the receptionist went and got another one who then told me that she would take my passport off me if I don’t pay as it’s hotel policy which then frightened me and after speaking to family they advised me to leave and during the time she spent at my hotel door room she stood with one foot in the room trying to intimidate me and was looking around at my stuff which I assume she was trying to look to see where my passport would be. She also tried to tell me if I don’t pay she cannot feed her family which is so sketchy because why is she not being paid a wage by the hotel? This is completely unacceptable — the doorknob was installed the wrong way around, which is a clear maintenance fault and the hotel’s responsibility, not the guest’s. Their behaviour felt threatening and intimidating, especially as a solo female traveller, and I felt unsafe enough to leave the hotel immediately.
Beyond this incident, the hygiene standards were appalling. Despite paying over *** for four nights for what was sold as a deluxe room, the room was filthy, with visible mould in the bathroom, stained walls, and a general lack of cleanliness. Both rooms I stayed in contained certain shaped chairs with 2 massive mirrors, which it was clearly that type of hotel, and when I was moved rooms I found two condom packets left behind, raising serious concerns about whether the rooms were cleaned at all and how unhygienic this is. Please I am warning anyone thinking of booking this hotel to stay well away from it as I have been left completely traumatised no empathy shown for what I’d been through and treated terribly I am still in shock that the receptionist said she would take my passport which is completely illegal.
