I arrived earlier than usual because of the heavy snow and they let me in my room an hour earlier. reception area is huge and is facing the bay, you can see the island nearby. Room is as advertised. Bay view is really something, I couldn't enjoy it when I arrived because of the snow and really heavy winds but I imagine this room is probably more expensive during summer when you can open the windows. really nice tatami room,shower and toilet is separate. the onsen has the same bay view and its awesome during winter. There is a private bath in the onsen area but i didnt use it,not sure if its paid separately. dining hall where they serve the breakfast and dinner set meals has the same bay view, saw from the room info provided in the desk that all rooms in each floor face the bay, i was worried mine wasnt tbh because i got the room cheap even though i booked it 2 days before and it’s a weekend 😆 elevator for each floor has a different nebuta theme and there was a shamisen performance free at the hall after dinner which is nice highlight! Great Staff and really patient with my broken japanese. Not much to do inside the hotel during winter but I imagine the food stalls by the bay open during good weather and its a good 15min walk from the asamushi onsen train station to the hotel, my base hotel is at aomori so I only had a bagpack when I visited (my somewhat heavy bagpackpack kept me from being blown away by the heavy winds 😆) --but I imagine its going to be a challenge dragging your luggage to the hotel during winter. i had a nice overnight stay,thank you!

Location it was opposite the aquarium. Room size was okay for 3 people. Come with attached bathroom. Food was not too bad.

Almost all if not every room has a “dropped dead” gorgeous ocean view. Rooms are spacious n clean with sitting area by ocean view windows. The beautiful island is directly in front of the hotel. Staff were extremely gracious and helpful. Morning breakfast was plentiful and good. They provide morning shuttle van back to train station. This is a small town with almost no foreign visitors so very little English in town. The staff and beautiful lobby n rooms at the hotel made up for any lack of welcome from the town’s restaurants etc.

My friend whom I was travelling with loves the food that the hotel prepared - both dinner and breakfast serving. Staffs were also very helpful. When we arrived at the hotel, we were greeted by the staff that helped us with our luggage. We arrived a little late thus not able to enjoy the onsen with view but the view from our room were splendid when we woke up the next morning - sea view overlooking the nearby island with a little cute torri sighted from faraway. At 9 pm the hotel also arranged a local traditional musical performance for 30 minutes. It was an enjoyable performance.
