유후인 호시노사토

찾아가는 길이 너무 어려워서, 한참을 헤맸지만... 온천 물이 너무 좋아 모든 것을 상쇄할 만큼 만족합니다. 또, 사장님께서 한국분이라 체크인 과정도 순조로웠고 조식까지 챙겨주시는 섬세함에 가족 모두 만족했습니다:)

할머니를 모시고 유후인에서 2박 3일 동안 호시노사토에 묵었습니다. 연세가 있으신 할머니와 함께하는 여행이라 조용하고 편안한 숙소를 찾다가 이곳을 선택하게 되었고, 전체적으로 매우 만족스러운 숙박이었습니다. 유후인 여행을 계획하시는 분들께 도움이 될 것 같아 후기를 남깁니다. 호시노사토는 긴린코 호수 인근의 조용한 언덕 위에 위치한 숙소입니다. 고즈넉한 마을 분위기와 상쾌한 공기가 어우러져 있으며, 숙소에서 바라보는 유후다케 산의 풍경이 매우 인상적이었습니다. 무엇보다 이곳을 이야기할 때 온천을 빼놓을 수 없습니다. 온천수의 질이 매우 좋았고 물의 온도도 적당해 오래 몸을 담그기 좋았습니다. 커다란 창문이 개방되어 있어 바깥의 상쾌한 공기를 느끼며 온천을 즐길 수 있었는데, 이번 여행에서 가장 기억에 남는 순간이었습니다. 특히 온천을 좋아하시는 할머니께서도 물이 정말 좋다고 하셔서 더욱 만족스러웠습니다. 객실은 일본식 다다미 방으로 되어 있었고, 방 가운데에는 코타츠가 있어 료칸 특유의 분위기를 느낄 수 있었습니다. 객실 상태도 매우 깨끗하고 관리가 잘 되어 있었습니다. 사장님께서 서울의 5성급 호텔에서 총지배인으로 근무하신 경력이 있다고 들었는데, 그 때문인지 숙소 곳곳에서 세심한 관리가 느껴졌습니다. 영어, 일본어, 한국어로 소통이 가능했고 무엇보다 매우 친절하게 응대해 주셨습니다. 체크인 전에 캐리어 세 개를 호텔 로비에 맡길 수 있었던 점도 편리했습니다. 그리고 체크인 시간이 되어 숙소에 도착했을 때, 맡겨둔 짐이 이미 객실로 옮겨져 있어 세심한 배려를 느낄 수 있었습니다. 숙소의 위치가 주요 상점가와 약간 떨어져 있다는 점은 단점이 될 수도 있지만, 픽업 서비스가 있어 이동에 큰 불편은 없었습니다. 저녁에는 편의점에서 간단한 먹거리를 사 와서 로비 라운지에서 식사를 했습니다. 라운지에는 위스키와 일본주, 커피와 차 등이 준비되어 있었고 분위기도 캐주얼하면서 고급스러웠습니다. 은은하게 흘러나오는 클래식 음악과도 잘 어울려 여행의 분위기를 더욱 좋게 만들어 주었습니다. 또한 역에서 숙소까지 픽업 서비스가 제공되며, 아침에는 숙소에서 역까지 차량 서비스(10시)도 이용할 수 있습니다. 이 서비스를 잘 이용하면 유후인 여행을 훨씬 편하게 즐길 수 있을 것 같습니다. 이번 여행에서 호시노사토에서의 숙박은 정말 만족스러운 경험이었습니다. 유후인에서 조용한 분위기 속에서 온천과 휴식을 즐기고 싶은 분들께 추천하고 싶은 숙소였습니다. I stayed at Hoshinosato in Yufuin for two nights and three days with my grandmother. Since she is elderly, I wanted to find a quiet and comfortable place for our stay, and this accommodation turned out to be a very satisfying choice overall. I’m writing this review in the hope that it might be helpful for those who are planning a trip to Yufuin. Hoshinosato is located on a quiet hill near Lake Kinrinko. The peaceful atmosphere of the village, combined with the fresh air, creates a wonderful environment. The view of Mount Yufudake from the property was particularly impressive. Most of all, the hot spring is something that cannot be left out when talking about this place. The quality of the hot spring water was excellent, and the temperature was perfect for soaking comfortably for a long time. The large windows were open, allowing fresh outdoor air to flow in while enjoying the bath, and soaking in the hot spring while looking out at the scenery of Yufuin was truly memorable. It was one of the most unforgettable moments of our trip. My grandmother, who especially enjoys hot springs, also said that the water was very good, which made the stay even more satisfying. The room was a traditional Japanese tatami room, and there was a kotatsu in the center, which added to the authentic ryokan atmosphere. The room was also very clean and well maintained. I heard that the owner previously worked as a general manager at a five-star hotel in Seoul, and perhaps because of that, the attention to detail throughout the property was noticeable. He was able to communicate in English, Japanese, and Korean, and above all, he was extremely kind and welcoming. It was also convenient that we could leave our three suitcases at the lobby before check-in. When we arrived later for check-in, our luggage had already been moved to the room, which showed a thoughtful level of service. One possible drawback is that the accommodation is slightly away from the main shopping area, but this was not a major issue because they provide a pickup service. In the evening, we bought some simple food from a convenience store and ate in the lobby lounge. The lounge offered whiskey, Japanese sake, coffee, and tea, and the atmosphere was both casual and elegant. Soft classical music playing in the background made the travel experience even more enjoyable. There is also a pickup service from the station to the accommodation, and in the morning there is a car service from the accommodation to the station at 10 a.m. Using these services can make traveling around Yufuin much more convenient.
