스카이 젬 호텔 - 벤 탄 (구.블루 다이아몬드 호텔)

Overall the location of this hotel was great and the air conditioner in my room kept me cool for my entire week’s stay. The breakfast was fresh and I appreciated how many different options they offered each day for different cultural tastes. However, I booked this hotel because of the nice photos and because Expedia listed it as a 4-star property but it definitely was not. My room did not even have its own window and I had no view of the outside. When I asked for a room with a window like the photos showed, they told me I would have to pay even more, which was a real disappointment after traveling for 24hrs and arriving to find out I was essentially blindsided for the entire week. The pool was nice but I just wish it truly matched the 4-star quality it claimed to have. The room also did not feel very clean and had more of a motel feel where dirt and grime slowly build up and start to show when things are not properly maintained. There also did not seem to be any designated quiet hours since the doors were not soundproof and the hallways echoed so much that you could hear everyone opening their doors and having loud conversations throughout the night.

The room had a very strong bleach smell, breakfast was quite inadequate with near empty jams and no syrup, the rooms window opened up to the hallway so light came through all night long and the bathroom lighing was very dark. The tv reception was very bad. This is not a four star hotel.

Fællesområderne var meget flotte, men værelserne var i dårlig stand. De var slidte, der lugtede og var spor af skimmel i loftet. Der var meget lydt, ingen vindue og morgenmaden var dårlig, så vi spiste ude i stedet. Men dejlig central beliggenhed og virkelig venligt og serviceorienteret personale.
