We felt like this property needs more upkeeping. Needs maintenance all around. One example are the buttons on our room phone that connect you to valet, lobby and room service didn't work. Eventually figured out there was a tablet you need to navigate for these services. Best to change these dated phones out. Staff at check-in, lobby restaurant & gym seemed somewhat unprofessional & unmotivated. The valet was severely understaffed. Took 30 minutes, instead of the 10 minutes estimated in our text notification. December is always a busy time. Best to hire more staff to make the experience much more pleasant or at least palatable for both sides.

Our room was clean and good sized. There was some street noise in the early mornings but it is a busy city. The sink and shower don’t drain well (had the same experience a year ago) but I assume it is because the building is old. The staff was great - pleasant and efficient. We walked quite a bit to and from the hotel but that is not for everyone due to the steep hills.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 — A Truly Magical Stay! I can’t say enough wonderful things about this beautiful hotel. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional—warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Every staff member went above and beyond to make our stay feel special. But what absolutely stole my heart was the Christmas décor. It was truly magical—like stepping straight into a holiday movie. Sparkling lights, stunning trees, festive details in every corner… it felt whimsical and full of joy. The atmosphere alone made our stay unforgettable. If you’re looking for a place that delivers both luxury and heartwarming holiday charm, this hotel is a dream. I will absolutely be returning and recommending it to everyone one i know thank you for a wonderful stay. everyone I know
