Anamabo Beach Resort is one of our favorite places on earth! The food is always delicious - favorites include tilapia with banku and grilled lobster when they have it. breakfast is sumptuous and the fresh pineapple melts in you mouth. The staff is always friendly and helpful - many have been at the resort for years, and they never fail to remember our family. Beds are comfortable, and the rustic vibe is so relaxing. We can feel our blood pressure drop every time we come through the gate!
Totally overpriced. Waited 1,5 hours for lunch and was served overcooked, burnt, overpriced, and bland pasta. Dinner took two hours for the first persons dish to arrive, and three hours for the last group member to get the food. Loud place. Understaffed and obviously not well managed. Rooms are okay, but really not worth that much money. Matrass has this plastic cover that makes you sweat. Basic furniture, shabby lock that took us once ten minutes to open. Almg the beach tehy built this wall with stones that is covered in thistle wire you have to be careful not to get tetanus from. Beach is also dirty.
The spa is actually in Cape Coast and they have to send someone, so who knows if you actually can get treatments. Pretty pricey anyway.
All in all: we'll never come back!
I liked everything. The environment was so peaceful. Staff were always ready to help.
Excellent location right on the beach and best for seawave sound at night “Fantastic serene” and food good variety. Breakfast perfect. Could be rated 5/5 * if they have had phones in the room and better telecommunications system; WiFi not functioning at beachfronts.
