26.04.07My main concern was actually with Agoda rather than the hotel. The room had no window, and this wasn’t mentioned anywhere on the listing, whereas other hotels usually make this clear. As someone who is a bit claustrophobic, this made the stay less comfortable than expected.
I was assigned room 902, which unfortunately had a persistent unpleasant smell throughout my stay. At first, I thought it might be from previous guests, especially as the pillows also had an odour. After a night, I realised the smell was actually stale food drifting down from the kitchen directly above. Because the 9th floor sits under the breakfast room, the smell is constant, and there is also early‑morning noise from the kitchen staff. I would recommend requesting a lower floor if possible.
The hotel itself is quite dated. For a 4‑star property, I would have expected bathrobes, but none were provided. The towels were clean but noticeably old and yellowed. On the positive side, the bed was comfortable.
The ground‑floor staff were excellent—friendly, helpful, and speaking very good English. The breakfast room staff, however, seemed less engaged and not as welcoming.
Overall, the location and the lovely reception and door staff were the highlights of my stay.

They go the extra mile of ensuring you are comfortable and well taken care of.
Excellent service. The staff here are really gems and will return because of them.
Location wise, it is good too. Hotel is surrounded by Countless shops with good bargain and eateries.
