Nous avons logé à l’hôtel Ballena Rey 2 nuits. Nous avons adoré notre séjour dans ce petit hôtel au personnel souriant et accueillant. Les chambres sont munies d’une petite cuisine équipée d’un réfrigérateur et d’une plaque à convection. Parfait pour se faire soi-même à manger. Nous avons aussi beaucoup apprécié le balcon où il était possible de faire sécher notre linge après avoir profiter d’activités nautiques. S’il y avait quelque chose à améliorer, j’irais pour la variété du déjeuner. Je tiens toutefois à préciser que malgré cela, nous avons trouvé notre compte coté nourriture et que nous y retournerions sans hésiter.

We stayed at Ballena Rey Hotel from December 14–18 in Unit 9 while traveling from Canada to do some scuba diving in Uvita, and we had a wonderful experience from start to finish. The hotel was very clean and well maintained. Housekeeping came every day to clean the room and provide fresh towels, which we really appreciated after long days of diving. The hotel is located in a safe and quiet neighbourhood. The property itself has a peaceful atmosphere and was never noisy. Our unit was on the ground floor beside the pool and restaurant area, but noise was never an issue. By the time we went to bed around 9 p.m., everything was calm and quiet. The bed and pillows were also very comfortable to sleep in which makes a huge difference. Every staff member we encountered was friendly and welcoming. The daytime manager at the front desk (we unfortunately can’t remember his name) truly stood out. He went above and beyond to help us with any requests, always greeted us with a warm smile, and genuinely cared about how our day was going. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay in Uvita!

Excellent stay if you don't care about 4-star finishes. Everyone was very friendly and efficient. wonderful stay if frufru finishes aren't a necessity for you.
